We assist clients to navigate turbulent waters commonly encountered by startup and growth companies

Our firm has several years of international experience, having lived/worked/travelled in South America, Europe and Africa. Specific international experience in investment banking, portfolio management, technology and mobile telecommunications startups, public utilities, oil and gas and consulting.

Explorateur Ventures is active in the communities in which it is involved, including the following:

Technology

  • Mentors at several Startup Weekend events, both in Las Vegas, Nevada and Palo Alto, California.
  • Co-Founder of the Las Vegas, Nevada Chapter of Mobile Monday. The group tends to host events around industry conventions, such as CTIA Super Mobility.

Education

  • Adjunct Instructors, University of Nevada-Las Vegas, Lee School of Business and Boyd School of Law (2009-Present)
    • Lee Business School undergraduate business courses; emphasis on entrepreneurship, finance and management – BGES430 “International Entrepreneurship”; FIN345 “Managing New Venture Funding”; FIN480 “Entrepreneurial Finance”; and FIN301 “Principles of Managerial Finance”; and FIN407, “Fixed Income Securities.” Utilize case method, national/international guest speakers for real-world undergraduate academic experiences. FIN407 prepares students for CFA Level I Exam questions related to the fixed-income asset class.
